Jarir Marketing Company, also known as “Jarir Bookstore” or “Jarir,” was established in Riyadh in 1974 as a small bookstore. In the 1980s, Jarir opened its second branch in Riyadh, followed by a branch in the 1990s. Jarir is a leader in the Middle East in consumer IT products, electronics, office supplies and books.
